The goal for the home page was to inform people that It's not just about pushing products but to make it clear that gun owners should have security for their guns. In addition, we chose our charity partners with purpose and positioned them so that they were prominent on the page. We also created headers and subcopy that drove the idea that securing guns is a responsibility that has benefits for customer-family safety reasons and for the guns themselves.
To engage the customer and to create visual interest, I used lifestyle photography combined with text lockups that featured a symbolic icon or icons to represent the particular category.
For the Brand Pages I chose to feature the company logo on top of a relevant lifestyle image to that particular brand. Some of the brands did not have any available assets so I had to be resourceful and create something that would still represent their brand while remaining cohesive within the Heavy Metal Safes environment.
Below are some email marketing examples that we used to follow up with our customers. These emails were to educate our customer about who we are, why we are doing it, education and promotions. These emails led with the brand logo and were designed to look familiar to the customer. I chose to use a lifestyle image with an overlay of shades of blue and yellow from the brand color palette, a bold header describing the content within the email and the Heavy Metal Safe Supply Co. badge.
